Broome Time Resort is proudly known as one of Broome’s best value accommodation options, offering relaxed, resort-style comfort close to the iconic Cable Beach. Originally built in 1982 using locally produced Pindan bricks and opening in 1983 as the Original Cable Beach Resort, the property has evolved over the decades while retaining its strong local character. Formerly known as Ocean Lodge, Broome Time Lodge, and Golden Chain Broome Time, the resort is now Broome Time Resort Cable Beach — a welcoming base for visitors to the Kimberley.
Deeply connected to the region, Broome Time Resort celebrates local culture and creativity through the Broome Time Art Gallery, opened in 2014. The gallery showcases Kimberley and Western Australian art, including Indigenous paintings, artefacts, and handcrafted works, with regular artist-in-residence programs. This commitment to community, culture, and comfort has made Broome Time Resort a favourite among families, business travellers, and holidaymakers alike.
